PhD Counseling Scholarship in Algebraic Coding Theory


The PhD student will be associated with the group Mathematics for Communication at the Department of Mathematical Sciences ( http://www.math.aau.dk/ ). This group is also part of the Danish-Chinese Center for Applications of Algebraic Geometry in Coding and Cryptography. The center is the framework of the PhD stipend. The project will be in algebraic coding theory.

PhD scholarships to persons who hold a master's degree awarded. PhD scholarships are normally for a period of 3 years. It is a condition for awarding the scholarship, the candidate as a PhD student at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Engineering and computer science have been enrolled, in accordance with the provisions of Ministerial Order No. 18 of 14 January 2008 on the PhD at the University. After the ministerial decree, the progress the student must be evaluated every six months. It is a prerequisite for the continued payment of wages, that progress is approved at the previous date of valuation.
The qualifications of the applicant will be evaluated by a committee. Based on the recommendation of the Evaluation Committee to make the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and computer science, a decision for the allocation of allowances.

Gates Cambridge Phd Counseling Master Scholarship 2011

Most applicants will apply simultaneously for graduate admission to the University of Cambridge and for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship using one application form (GRADSAF). As well as the GRADSAF form, applicants must also submit supporting documentation (e.g. three references, transcripts and any other material required by the University).
